Who is behind The Winding Stairs?

TheWindingStairs.com and MasonicFundraiser.com were conceived and developed by Bro:. Juan Sepulveda, a professional artist and Master Mason, to provide a growing collection of Freemasonry-Inspired products and an easy-to-implement alternative to raising funds for local Masonic Lodges.

“When I joined the Fraternity, my artistic mind started buzzing with ideas for paintings, which I would love to create, inspired by the Tenets of the Order.” -Juan Sepúlveda

Author Juan SepulvedaJuan Sepúlveda, who has a passion for Art, Science and History, also wanted to create a website where his passions could coalesce, thereby creating something more than a mere online store, but more reminiscent of a source for Masonic Light. Whether it is through paintings or online posts, the passion behind the work is evident and hopefully the visitors enjoy and share it with others.

The work of Brother Juan ‘One’ Sepúlveda is one that aims to inspire the viewer to see things from a different perspective. Whether it is through symbolism or optical illusion, the work of the artist reflects his passion for knowledge and creativity. “The message contained in my art is either a reflection of my personal life experiences or lessons I have received from others, but the purpose is always the same; to contribute to the never-ending cycle of inspiration”.

The Artist was born in the beautiful island of Puerto Rico, where he was exposed to art from an early age, because his mother was an artist. His father, a respected businessman, has always encouraged his entrepreneurial spirit. This support led Juan to move to the United States in pursuit of a career in the arts. Juan has been living in Florida since 1999, where he makes a living as a professional artist.

Shortly after becoming a Freemason in 2009, the artist decided to begin working on a Masonic Art Collection. It was a natural progression to his work, since he is passionate for history, Masonic education and allegorical teachings. In fact, for over a decade he has been describing his painting style as Inspirational Symbolism. Today, Juan’s work is part of private and corporate collections in the United States, South America, The Caribbean, Europe and Australia.
